Today, I am thrilled to share a special video titled: “Miss SAKE Japan’s Journey : 【Hambara Miya-Daiku Tour】” which has just been uploaded to the Miss SAKE Channel.

This project is a collaboration with the ” Hambara Miya-Daiku Association”.

We at Miss SAKE are deeply committed to supporting the initiatives of the “ Hambara Miya-Daiku Association,” established in 2023. This association proudly carries on the legacy of the Hambara Miya-Daiku Group, which has been an integral part of Aikawa Town’s history. We are honored to contribute even in small ways to their meaningful endeavors.

For those unfamiliar, Miyadaiku are highly skilled artisans who restore and construct traditional Japanese architecture, including shrines, temples, and tea rooms. Using time-honored techniques and handcraftsmanship, they ensure these architectural treasures are preserved for future generations.

This two-day tour offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the intricate skills of the Hambara Miya-Daiku while exploring the rich history and charm of Aikawa Town. We’ve captured the essence of this tour in a video, and we hope you’ll enjoy watching it!

私たちMiss SAKEは、2023年に設立された「一般社団法人 半原宮大工集団」の活動を心から応援しています。この集団は、かつて愛川町で活動していた半原宮大工集団の名を引き継ぎ、私たちもその取り組みに少しでも力を添えられればと願っています。

宮大工とは、神社仏閣や茶室などの日本の伝統建築を修復・建築する職人であり、その高度な技術と手仕事によって日本の伝統を未来に繋ぐプロフェッショナルです。
