皆さま、こんにちは。2021 Miss SAKE の松崎未侑です。
先日、駐日キューバ共和国大使館 二等書記官 パトリシア・フレチジャ様、経済・通称担当参事官 カティア・モンソン様を
弊社団 代表理事 大西美香氏と、海外ディレクター 佐生颯平氏の同行 のもと、表敬訪問いたしました。
中米のカリブ海に位置しており、ラム酒、サルサダンス、葉巻、底まで透き通る海や、
カラフルでレトロな建物が立ち並ぶ街並みで、多くの観光客を魅了するキューバ共和国。
訪問では今後のキューバ共和国と日本の更なる文化交流と、
国酒であるラム酒と日本酒を用いての多文化共生の可能性についてお話しさせていただきました。
国酒にはその国を理解するための伝統と魂が込められています。
私が留学先で沈んでいた時に、現地の方と交流するきっかけをくれたのは国酒の存在でした。
ラム酒はキューバ共和国の方にとって宝と言っても過言ではありません
世界的に有名なハバナ・クラブをはじめとして、日本には３ブランドが輸入されていますが、
キューバ共和国本土には2020年時点では13のラム酒蒸留所がありました。
ラム酒を知るだけでも、キューバ共和国の歴史や文化が見えてきそうです。
また私の趣味は、サルサダンスです。
キューバ共和国はサルサダンスの聖地であり、街中に音楽が溢れています。
見知らぬ人同士も手と手を取り合い踊る姿は、文化や境遇を超えて人々が交流する象徴とも言えます。
今後キューバ共和国と日本の友好の証として私もMiss SAKEとして交流をさせていただけるのが待ち遠しいです。
今回の通訳を行ってくださったのは、キューバ共和国大使館 大使館次席付秘書 番田 康子様。
言葉以上に、話し手の思いや意図を察して通訳をしてくださる日本とキューバ共和国の架け橋となる方でした。

Hello everyone, this is Miyu Matsuzaki from 2021 Miss SAKE.
The other day, we visited Ms. Patricia Frecilla, Second Secretary of the Embassy, and Ms. Katia Monson, Counsellor for Economy and Trade of the Republic of Cuba in Japan.
The visit was accompanied by Mika Onishi, President of our delegation, and Sahou Sahou, Overseas Director.
Situated in the Caribbean Sea in Central America, the country attracts many tourists with its rum, salsa dancing, cigars, crystal clear waters and colorful retro buildings.
During the visit, we had a discussion over the possibility of further cultural exchange between the Republic of Cuba and Japan, using the country’s two national drinks, rum and sake.
National alcoholic beverages has the traditions and the soul of a country which helps visitors to understand the culture.
When I was feeling down in my study abroad, it was the national drink that gave me the opportunity to interact with the local people.
The people of the Republic of Cuba are proud of Rum.
There are only three brands imported into Japan, including the world-famous Havana Club.
As of 2020, there were 13 rum distilleries on the mainland of the Republic of Cuba.
Just by getting to know about rum, you could see the history and culture of the Republic of Cuba.
My hobby is salsa dancing.
The Republic of Cuba is the holy land of salsa dancing with streets which are filled with music.
The way strangers dance hand in hand with each other is a symbol of the interaction between those from different cultures and backgrounds.
To celebrate the friendship between the Republic of Cuba and Japan, I can’t wait to be a part of this cultural exchange as 2021 Miss SAKE.
The interpreter for this event was Ms. Yasuko Banda, Deputy Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba.
She worked as a bridge between tow countries, being able to understand the thoughts and intentions of the speaker more than the words themselves.
We would like to thank Ms. Patricia Freccilla, Ms. Katia Monson and Ms. Yasuko Banda of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Japan for making time for our visit.
