この度は、11月15日（土）、秋田県観光文化スポーツ部 食のあきた推進課の佐藤はるか課長、主任の篠木優志様・梅川結様、そして詩の国秋田株式会社 代表取締役社長 伊藤晋宏様と共に、香港・キングワーセンターに拠点を構える「酒魂株式会社 Wine Spirit Ltd」に表敬訪問させていただきましたのでご報告いたします。
「酒魂株式会社 Wine Spirit Ltd」は、香港を拠点に日本酒の魅力を広める輸入・流通会社で、地元市場における日本酒の普及に大きな役割を担っていらっしゃいます。日本国内でもなかなか手に入らないプレミアム日本酒や希少酒を多く取り扱い、業界関係者と日本酒愛好者のお客様がほぼ半々の割合で訪れるそうです。会員制度も整えられており、現在約3,000名ものVIP会員が登録されていると伺い、その数の多さに大変驚きました。
秋田の日本酒も、今回の香港プロモーションでいらっしゃっていた株式会社飛良泉本舗様の銘柄だけではなく、株式会社山本酒造店様や秋田醸造株式会社様の商品、さらにはクラフトサケ醸造所である稲とアガベ様の商品まで幅広く取り扱われており、嬉しく思いました。
秋田の日本酒やクラフトサケが香港でも手に入る環境が整っているだけでなく、ひとつひとつ丁寧に冷蔵保管され、品質を保ちながら届けられている様子を拝見し、秋田の酒質の高さが確実に香港の皆様に伝わっていると感じました。
温かく迎えていただいた上、会社のロゴ入りオリジナルトートバッグまで頂戴し、秋田県観光文化スポーツ部 食のあきた推進課の佐藤課長からは、秋田・角館の名産である唐土庵の「チョコもろこし三豆三度」が贈られました。
今回の訪問を通じて、秋田の日本酒が香港でも美味しく、そして品質を保ったまま広く届くことの大切さを改めて感じました。これからも、秋田の酒蔵の皆さまの想いを大切にしながら、香港の皆さまに秋田の日本酒の魅力をお届けしていただきたいという想いを伝えさせていただき、非常に有意義な訪問となりました。

On Saturday, November 15, I had the honor of visiting Wine Spirit Ltd, based in the King Wah Centre in Hong Kong, alongside Ms. Haruka Sato, Director of the Food Promotion Division at the Akita Prefecture Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Mr. Yuushi Shinoki and Mr. Yui Umekawa, both senior officers of the same division, and Mr. Shinko Ito, President of Shi no Kuni Akita Co., Ltd.
Wine Spirit Ltd is an import and distribution company dedicated to promoting the charm of Japanese sake in Hong Kong. The company plays a significant role in expanding the local market for Japanese sake and carries a wide selection of premium and rare sake that are often difficult to find even in Japan. I was impressed to learn that their customer base is roughly evenly split between industry professionals and sake enthusiasts, and that nearly 3,000 VIP members are registered in their membership program—a truly remarkable number.
During our visit, I was pleased to see that Wine Spirit Ltd handles a broad range of Akita sake, not only the brands from Hiraizumi Brewery that were featured in the Hong Kong promotion, but also products from Yamamoto Shuzo, Akita Brewing Co., and even craft sake from Ine to Agave. It was inspiring to observe how carefully each bottle is stored under refrigeration, ensuring the sake reaches Hong Kong in excellent condition. This attention to quality demonstrates that the exceptional character of Akita sake is clearly being communicated and appreciated by customers overseas.
We were warmly welcomed and even received original tote bags featuring the company’s logo. Additionally, Ms. Sato presented a gift of Morokoshian’s Choco Morokoshi from Kakunodate, a specialty of Akita.
This visit reaffirmed the importance of delivering Akita sake to Hong Kong with both its flavor and quality fully preserved. It was a meaningful opportunity to convey my hope that the heartfelt efforts of Akita’s breweries continue to be appreciated abroad and that Hong Kong customers can enjoy the full charm of Akita sake.
