この度は、2025年11月15日（土）、香港の花墟公園で開催された日本文化体験イベント「踊ろう・秋祭り2025（美食盡享！舞吧！秋祭！2025）」に参加させていただきましたのでご報告いたします。
【イベント概要】
「踊ろう・秋祭り2025（美食盡享！舞吧！秋祭！2025）」

当日は、約20の飲食・体験ブースでは、日本でも愛されているエスビー食品株式会社様のカレーブースや、サントリーホールディングス株式会社様の日本ビール提供ブースなどが振る舞われ、香港の皆様に日本の味覚やお祭りの雰囲気を存分に楽しんでいただくことができる会場でした。加えて、香港和僑会 会長 福田 恵子様とご挨拶させていただく機会も頂戴し、日本語を用いたクイズや輪投げゲームを提供しているブースをご案内いただきました。各ブースをご案内いただいた後、香港事務所を構える栃木県、兵庫県、福岡県の日本酒ブースをお手伝いし、香港の皆様に日本酒を振る舞わせていただきました。
イベント会場では、30以上の華やかな日本文化パフォーマンスが繰り広げられるほか、御神輿や和太鼓、日本舞踊、阿波踊り、ライブバンドなど多彩な演目に加え、参加者も一緒に楽しめる盆踊りが恒例プログラムとして行われておりました。会場内には浴衣や和服で来場する方々や家族連れも多く、笑顔で参加されている様子が印象的でした。私自身も御神輿担ぎの際に、在香港日本国総領事館 総領事大使 三浦 潤様の横を歩かせていただき、「わっしょい」とお祭りの掛け声で会場を盛り上げさせていただきました。
訪れたお客様からは、「日本に行ったことはあるけれど、祭りの時期に訪れるのは難しいので、こうして祭りの雰囲気を感じられて嬉しい」との声を直接伺うことができ、日本文化の魅力を香港で体験していただけることの喜びを改めて感じました。
開会式では、Zen Foods Co., Ltd. 代表取締役会長の氷室利夫様と共にステージに上がらせていただき、自己紹介を兼ねて「香港の皆様に日本食・日本酒を楽しんでいただきたい」という思いをお伝えしました。緊張の中にも、香港の皆様に日本の文化や食を届ける使命感と喜びを感じる、私にとって忘れられない瞬間となりました。突然の訪問であったにも関わらず、温かく迎え入れてくださり、このような光栄な機会を提供してくださった、在香港日本国総領事館の皆様や香港日本料理店協会の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。誠にありがとうございます。
今回の経験を通じて、日本酒や日本食、そして日本の祭り文化が海外でどれほど歓迎されているかを肌で感じました。2025 Miss SAKE 秋田として、これからも秋田の食文化や日本酒の魅力を香港の皆様に丁寧にお届けし、日本文化の理解と交流を深めるお手伝いができればと改めて強く感じました。また、来年はMiss SAKE 香港大会の開催も予定されているため、Miss SAKEファミリーで秋田と香港、日本と香港の食文化や日本酒を盛り上げられるよう、今後の活動も精進してまいりたいと思います。

I am pleased to report that on Saturday, November 15, 2025, I had the honor of participating in the Japanese cultural experience event “Let’s Dance! Autumn Festival 2025 (美食盡享！舞吧！秋祭！2025)” held at Fa Hui Park in Hong Kong.
Event Overview

The event featured approximately 20 food and activity booths, including S&B Foods Co., Ltd.’s curry booth and Suntory Holdings Limited’s Japanese beer booth, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the flavors and festive atmosphere of Japan. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Keiko Fukuda, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Japanese Entrepreneurs Association, and was guided to booths offering Japanese-language quizzes and ring-toss games. After touring each booth, I assisted at the sake booths representing Tochigi, Hyogo, and Fukuoka Prefectures, serving Japanese sake to guests.
The festival included more than 30 colorful cultural performances, such as portable shrine (mikoshi) processions, taiko drumming, traditional Japanese dance, Awa Odori, and live bands. Bon-odori dances were held as an interactive program for attendees to join in. Many visitors wore yukata or traditional Japanese clothing, and families with children participated with smiles and excitement. I myself had the opportunity to walk alongside Consul-General Jun Miura of the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong while carrying a mikoshi, raising a lively “Wasshoi!” chant to enhance the festive mood.
Many guests shared with me, “I have been to Japan, but it is difficult to visit during festival season, so I am delighted to experience the festival atmosphere here.” Hearing this directly reminded me of how meaningful it is to bring Japanese culture to Hong Kong.
During the opening ceremony, I joined the stage with Mr. Toshio Himuro, Chairman of Zen Foods Co., Ltd., and introduced myself while expressing my sincere wish for Hong Kong attendees to enjoy Japanese cuisine and sake. Although I felt nervous, I also experienced the profound joy and sense of mission in sharing Japanese culture and food with so many people—a moment I will never forget. I am deeply grateful to the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Japanese Restaurant Association for welcoming me so warmly and providing this remarkable opportunity.
Through this experience, I was able to feel firsthand how warmly Japanese sake, cuisine, and festival culture are received overseas. As 2025 Miss SAKE Akita, I am more determined than ever to continue sharing the richness of Akita’s food culture and sake with the people of Hong Kong, fostering understanding and cultural exchange. With the Miss SAKE Hong Kong competition planned for next year, I also look forward to working with the Miss SAKE family to further promote the culinary and sake culture of both Akita and Japan in Hong Kong.
