皆さま、こんにちは。 2025 Miss SAKE Japan 館農知⾥です。 6/22(⽇) ⼤阪・関⻄万博ウーマンズパビリオン in collaboration with Cartier にて開催された「パネルトーク」に、2023Miss SAKE Japan ⼭⽥琴⼦・2024 Miss SAKE Japan 南侑⾥とともに参加させていただきました。
このパビリオンは、内閣府、経済産業省、カルティエ、博覧会協会の共同出展で、「When women thrive, humanity thrives 〜ともに⽣き、ともに輝く未来へ〜」という理念のもと、誰もが等しく尊重され、⼿を取り合いながら、その持てる⼒を存分に発揮できる社会の実現へとつながる⼀歩を⽬指すパビリオンです。⼥性たちの経験と視点を通じて、現代に⽣きる⼥性の⼈⽣の物語を追体験するイマーシブ型の展⽰です。
お話の中でも、特に印象的だったのは「⽬的を明確化する〜⾏動に移す〜周囲に共有しインスパイアする」という 3 ステップの重要性についてです。私も実体験にある通り、「⽬的」を明確化することでこその⼈との出会いや経験もある⼀⽅で、そこでは⾃分の限界や弱みとも真摯に向き合う必要があります。そんな中で、⾃分を⾒つめ直し、⾃分を取り巻く諦める理由の数々に囚われず、⼀⼈の⼈間として⾃律して⽣きることの価値をお話の中から学ぶことが出来ました。それがまさに「夢の美しさを信じるものだけに未来はついてくる」という⾔葉に集約されており、⾮常に感銘を受けました。
その後は 4 名の⽅のパネルトークでした。全く異なるフィールドで、⼥性の活躍やダイバーシティを推進されている 4 名の⼥性達。共通する価値観として「ジェンダー、 国籍、 肌の⾊、 宗教、⾃分の役割にとらわれず、誰もが⾃分の充実や成⻑を⽬ざせる多様性のある社会を⽬指していくべき」という⼥性リーダー達の想いを肌で感じました。
世界経済フォーラムが発表する、 政治・経済・教育・健康の４分野における男⼥間の格差を測る「ジェンダー・ギャップ指数」において、昨年の⽇本は 146 か国中 118 位という結果でした。先進 7 か国（G7）の中では、最も低い順位となっています。⽇本を代表する Miss SAKE として、性別や国籍にとらわれず、⼀⼈の⼈間としての「⽇本酒を通して⽇本⽂化を広めたい」という⽬標に誠⼼誠意向き合いたいです。また、 多様性を柔軟に受け⼊れつつ、「⾃分はこういう⼈間である」という芯を持って⾏動する⼥性グローバルリーダーを⽬指していきたいと強く思いました。

Hello everyone, this is Chisato Tateno, 2025 Miss SAKE Japan.
On Sunday, June 22, I had the honor of participating in the Panel Talk at the Womenʼs Pavilion in collaboration with Cartier at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, alongside Kotoko Yamada, 2023 Miss SAKE Japan, and Yuri Minami, 2024 Miss SAKE Japan.
This pavilion, a collaborative initiative by the Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Cartier, and the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, is guided by the philosophy “When women thrive, humanity thrives ‒ Toward a future where we live and shine together.” It aims to take a step toward a society where everyone is equally respected and empowered to reach their full potential while walking hand in hand. The immersive exhibition allows visitors to experience the life stories of women living in the modern world, through their experiences and perspectives.
One of the most striking parts of speaker was her emphasis on the importance of three steps: “Clarify your purpose ‒ Take action ‒ Share it with others to inspire.” From my own experience, I know that clearly defining oneʼs purpose leads to meaningful encounters and experiences, but it also requires facing oneʼs own limitations with sincerity. Through that process, Iʼve come to appreciate the beauty of living with autonomy, free from the reasons we convince ourselves to give up. Her words “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams” deeply moved me.
The panel discussion featured four exceptional women from vastly different fields. Their shared commitment to advancing womenʼs empowerment and diversity came through strongly. They resonated around the belief that we must create a diverse society in which gender, nationality, skin color, religion, or predefined roles do not limit anyoneʼs ability to pursue fulfillment and growth.
According to the World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Index which assesses disparities between men and women in the areas of politics, economy, education, and health Japan ranked 118th out of 146 countries last year, the lowest among the G7 nations. As Miss SAKE representing Japan, and as an individual, I was deeply inspired to embrace diversity with an open mind and stay firmly grounded in my identity while continuing to promote Japanese culture through sake.
