We are delighted to announce that the very first 2026 Miss SAKE Azerbaijan will be held in 2026. As the inaugural Miss SAKE competition in the Caucasus region, this event will serve as a valuable opportunity to share the charm of Japanese sake and culture while deepening cultural exchange between Azerbaijan and Japan.
Azerbaijan, often described as the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, has long embraced diverse cultures. The establishment of an ambassador to represent Japanese sake and culture in this country carries great significance. With a climate and natural environment similar to Japan, Azerbaijan is also known as a pro-Japanese nation, with two universities in its capital city of Baku offering Japanese language programs. In this land that continues to develop by blending tradition and innovation, Japanese sake is expected to be embraced in new ways, becoming a bridge for international exchange.
Miss SAKE has so far hosted competitions across the world, appointing ambassadors dedicated to promoting Japanese sake and culture globally. With the official launch of 2026 Miss SAKE Azerbaijan, this international mission will further expand its reach and impact.
