7月7日（月）北海道酒造組合を表敬訪問し、同組合会長 川村哲夫さま（日本清酒株式会社 代表取締役社長）に、2025 Miss SAKE Japan 就任のご挨拶と、一般社団法人 Miss SAKE の活動内容についてご報告させていただきました。
北海道酒造組合について
北海道酒造組合は、道内の酒蔵をとりまとめ、日本酒文化の普及啓発と地域産業としての酒造業の発展に長年取り組まれてきた組織です。今回は、2025 Miss SAKE Japan就任後初めての地元・北海道への訪問となりました。これまで3か月間、北海道代表として取り組んできたナデシコプログラムでの学びやMiss SAKE海外活動の現状についてもご報告させていただきました。
北海道から広がる日本酒文化
さらに訪問の中では、北海道で開催される日本酒イベントの動向や、近年特に若年層や女性を中心に高まっている日本酒への関心についても貴重な意見交換の機会をいただきました。北海道の豊かな食文化と日本酒の融合がもたらす可能性について、明るい未来を感じると同時に、Miss SAKE としてどのように貢献していけるかを考える貴重な機会となりました。
また川村さまより、北海道酒造組合が作成している「北海道酒蔵マップ」もいただきました。このマップには、道内各地に点在する酒蔵の情報が詳しく掲載されており、観光と日本酒文化を結びつける「旅のガイド」としても魅力的な資料です。北海道の広大な地理的スケールと、それに伴う風土の多様性が生み出す各地域の酒の個性を、視覚的に理解することができました。
今回の訪問を通じて、北海道は自然・食・観光資源に恵まれた地域であり、そうした魅力の中に日本酒文化が根付いていることに誇りを感じました。北海道産日本酒が持つ可能性を全国へ、そして世界へ向けてさらなる情報発信してまいりたいと思います。
今後も Miss SAKE として、日本の地域固有の食文化を基盤にした地酒の魅力を多くの方々に届けていけるよう、丁寧に、そして情熱をもって活動を続けてまいります。

Hello everyone, I’m Chisato Tateno, 2025 Miss SAKE Japan.
On Monday, July 7th, I paid a courtesy visit to the Hokkaido Sake Brewers Association and had the honor of greeting Mr. Tetsuo Kawamura, Chairman of the Association and President & CEO of Nihon Seishu Co., Ltd. I also reported on my appointment as 2025 Miss SAKE Japan and the activities of the Miss SAKE Organization.
About the Hokkaido Sake Brewers Association
The Hokkaido Sake Brewers Association unites the breweries across Hokkaido and has long been dedicated to promoting sake culture and advancing the sake brewing industry as a vital regional sector. This visit marked my first official trip to my hometown of Hokkaido since assuming the title of 2025 Miss SAKE Japan. I shared updates on the Nadeshiko Program, which I have been engaged in for the past three months under the goal of “bringing Hokkaido sake to the world”, as well as the current status of Miss SAKE’s overseas activities.
Sake Culture Spreading from Hokkaido
During the visit, I also had a valuable opportunity to exchange views regarding trends in sake events held in Hokkaido, and the growing interest in sake, particularly among younger generations and women in recent years. I felt a bright future ahead in terms of the potential brought by the fusion of Hokkaido’s rich food culture and sake, and this occasion inspired me to consider how Miss SAKE can further contribute to this development.
Additionally, Mr. Kawamura kindly presented me with the “Hokkaido Sake Brewery Map,” created by the Association. This map provides detailed information on breweries scattered throughout the region and serves as an attractive “travel guide” connecting tourism and sake culture. It visually conveys the unique characteristics of sake from various areas, shaped by Hokkaido’s vast geographic scale and diverse climate.
Through this visit, I once again felt proud that Hokkaido is a region blessed with abundant natural resources, food, and tourism, where sake culture is deeply rooted. I am determined to continue sharing the possibilities of Hokkaido sake with audiences nationwide and around the world.
Going forward, as Miss SAKE, I will continue my activities with care and passion to deliver the charm of local sake, grounded in Japan’s unique regional food cultures, to as many people as possible.
