JBA創立57周年記念レセプションに2017ミス日本酒田中梨乃が参加してまいりました。

千葉明総領事の挨拶に始まり、私 2017 ミス日本酒 田中梨乃の紹介もして頂きました。貴重なお時間を頂戴できましたこと感謝申し上げます。

私は来賓の方々と共に鏡開きに参加させて頂きました。また乾杯の発声もご一緒させて頂きました。

鏡開きが終わると日本庭園へ移動し、お寿司やたこ焼きなどが屋台形式で並ぶ会場にて、約180名の参加者の方々は日本食を堪能されておりました。

私は日本酒コーナーにて日本語と英語で日本酒の説明とおもてなしをさせて頂きました。JBAのロゴがデザインされた木升に日本酒を酒を注ぎながら、ご来場者様と日本酒や日本文化についてお話しすることができ大変光栄です。

長年にわたり培われた日米の友好の絆の強さを再認識することが出来ました。
57周年を祝うにふさわしい、大変華やかな会となりました。

この先も「日本酒のあるライフスタイルを、世界中に！」というミッションのもと、国内だけでなく海外で日本酒を広める活動をして参ります。

Hello, everyone.
This is Rino Tanaka, 2017 Miss Sake.

“JBA (Japan Business Association of Southern California) 57th-anniversary celebration reception” was held in the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles in California, USA.

The reception began with the opening speech by Mr. Akira Chiba, the Japan Consul General, followed by the introduction of me as 2017 Miss Sake. I am grateful to be given a valuable time.

I participated in Kagami-biraki, the opening of a new sake barrel, with the guests and we made a toast together.

After that, we moved to the Japanese garden where there are many food stands such as sushi stand and takoyaki stand. About 180 participants were enjoying Japanese food at the venue.

I explained Japanese sake and Japanese hospitality in Japanese and English at the sake counter. It was a great honour to be able to talk about sake and Japanese culture with many visitors while pouring sake into kimasu (a small wooden container to serve sake) that JBA’s logo was designed.

This opportunity made me notice the strong friendship between Japan and the United States cultivated over many years. It was a gorgeous party celebrating the 57th anniversary. We will continue to promote sake around the world as well as in Japan, under the mission of “Life with sake, all over the world!”
