7月30日（火）から8月3日（土）にかけて開催された、名古屋の夏の風物詩【円頓寺商店街七夕まつり】に参加致しました。
From July 30 (Tue) to August 3 (Sat), I had the pleasure of participating in the Endoji Shopping Street Tanabata Festival, one of Nagoya’s beloved summer traditions.
円頓寺商店街は、名古屋で最も古い商店街のひとつで、江戸時代から庶民に親しまれてきた歴史ある街です。毎年夏に行われる「七夕まつり」は昭和30年代から続く伝統行事で、商店主や地域の方々手作りの七夕飾りがアーケードを彩り、毎年約10万人が訪れます。
The Endoji Shopping Street is one of the oldest shopping streets in Nagoya, with a history dating back to the Edo period. The Tanabata Festival, held every summer since the 1950s, is a cherished local tradition. Handmade Tanabata decorations created by shop owners, community members, and children beautifully adorn the covered arcade, attracting approximately 100,000 visitors each year.
私は7月30日（火）、31日（水）、8月1日（木）の3日間に出演し、各日、日本酒の販売・提供を行いました。8月2日（金）は2023 Miss SAKE 愛知 ファイナリスト 鳥居杏璃紗、8月3日（土）は2025 Miss SAKE 愛知 ファイナリスト 小椋菜々が出演し、それぞれ日本酒のご提供とMiss SAKEの活動についてお話させていただきました。
I participated on July 30, 31, and August 1, where I was involved in selling and serving sake each day. On August 2, 2023 Miss SAKE Aichi Finalist Anrisa Torii, and on August 3, 2025 Miss SAKE Aichi Finalist Nana Ogura joined, each providing sake and speaking about the Miss SAKE initiative.
また、初日の7月30日（火）には、七夕まつり開会を告げるセレモニーにも参加しました。式典には名古屋市長、名古屋副市長、西区長をはじめ、数多くのご来賓や協賛企業の皆さまがご列席され、盛大に開催されました。Miss SAKE 愛知も協賛の一員として、この歴史あるお祭りの一端を担うことができ、大変光栄に感じました。
On the opening day, July 30, I also took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. Distinguished guests included the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Nagoya, the Mayor of Nishi Ward, as well as many representatives from supporting companies. As a sponsor, Miss SAKE Aichi was honored to be part of this historic celebration.
日中は浴衣姿の若者や家族連れが商店街を行き交い、夕暮れとともに屋台の明かりが灯ると、お祭りムードは最高潮に。商店街全体が笑顔と活気に包まれ、日本酒を通じた交流の輪も広がりました。
Throughout the festival, families in yukata and groups of friends filled the streets. As evening fell, the glow of food stalls illuminated the arcade, and the festive atmosphere reached its peak. It was a joy to see so many smiles and to share conversations over sake, reaffirming the power of local festivals to connect people and culture.
