暑い日々が続きますが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
本日は、7月上旬に池袋・サンシャインシティにて開催された世界最大の日本酒イベント「日本酒フェア2024」に2024 Miss SAKE 9名が参加させていただきましたのでご報告いたします。
『日本酒フェア2024』とは
【概要】
沖縄と鹿児島を除く全国45都道府県の酒造組合等が地域の風土や文化などテーマを掲げて出展し、様々なタイプの日本酒の試飲・販売が実施されて、多くの蔵元さんとの交流も図れます。日本酒のおいしさや楽しさを紹介、タイプ別・温度差のきき酒体験ができる「はじめの日本酒コーナー」をはじめ、「伝統的酒造りコーナー」「酒造ツーリズムPRコーナー」などのコーナーもあります。（おいしいSAKE引用）

2024 Miss SAKE Japan 南侑里さんとご来場者をお出迎えし、ワクワクしながら会場の中に足を運んでくださる皆様の姿を見て私も自然と笑顔になりました。
そのあとは各都道府県のブースを回らせていただき、いくつかのブースでは来場者へ日本酒を注ぐお手伝いをさせていただきました。
日頃からインプットしている日本酒の知識を活かしご来場者と日本酒トークを楽しんだり、Miss SAKEを応援してくださる方とお写真を撮っていただいたり、新しい日本酒について勉強させていただいたりと大変有意義な時間を過ごさせていただきました。
また、ブースを回る中で出逢えた各都道府県の酒造組合や蔵元の皆様との会話の中で造り手の熱い思い・日本酒の影響力を再確認し、日本酒業界の勢いのある前進にMiss SAKEとして携わらせていただいていることを光栄に思いました。
この日は中華圏からのご来場者も多く、中国語で会話を繰り広げるとなんとこのイベントの為にわざわざ日本にいらしているという方もいました。日本酒を求めて来日していただけるのは、日本人としてとても誇らしく感じる瞬間となりました。
今回、第16回全国日本酒フェア2024に参加させて頂き大変貴重な経験をさせていただきました。出演依頼をしていただきました日本酒造組合中央会様、心より感謝申し上げます。
National Sake Fair 2024

This is Chinami Terasaki, 2024 Miss SAKE Runner-up.
I hope you are all doing well on these hot days.
Today, I would like to report that I participated in the world’s largest sake event “Sake Fair 2024” held at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro in early July.
What is “Sake Fair 2024”?
Sake brewers’ associations from 45 prefectures across Japan (excluding Okinawa and Kagoshima) will exhibit their products under themes such as regional climate and culture, and will offer sake tasting and sales of various types of sake, as well as opportunities to interact with many sake brewers. There will also be a “First Sake Corner” where visitors can learn about the taste and enjoyment of sake, experience sake tasting by type and temperature, as well as a “Traditional Sake Brewing Corner” and a “Sake Brewing Tourism PR Corner”. 2024 Miss SAKE Japan Yuri Minami and I welcomed the visitors to the event, and I naturally smiled when I saw everyone excitedly walking into the venue.
After that, we visited the booths of each prefecture and helped pour sake for the visitors at some of the booths. I enjoyed talking about sake with the visitors, taking pictures with the supporters of Miss SAKE, and learning about new sake products. In addition, I was able to reconfirm the passion of sake brewers and the influence of sake through conversations with people from the sake brewers’ associations and breweries I met as I visited their booths, and I felt honored to be involved in the momentum of the sake industry as Miss SAKE.
There were many visitors from Taiwan and China, and as I enjoyed my conversations with them in Chinese, I learned that some of them had traveled all the way to Japan just for this event. It was a very proud moment for me as a Japanese person to know that they came to Japan for sake.
It was a very valuable experience for me to participate in the 16th National Sake Fair 2024. I, on behalf of Miss SAKE, would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Central Association of Sake Brewers Associations for requesting our attendence.
