皆様こんにちは。2018 ミス日本酒の須藤亜紗実です。11月15日、ミス日本酒の活動にご後援を頂いております経済産業省様の元へ表敬訪問に伺わせて頂きました。
この度は経済産業省 大臣官房審議官(貿易経済協力局・農林水産品輸出担当) 水野政義様、大臣官房審議官(商務・サービス担当) 島田勘資様、商務・サービスグループ クールジャパン海外戦略室長 橋本文子様にお時間を頂戴し、今年度のミス日本酒の活動についてご報告をさせて頂きました。

経済産業省様は海外の方に「クール」と捉えて頂けるような日本の魅力の発信、海外展開、インバウンド振興を目指す『クールジャパン戦略』を進めていらっしゃいます。
2013年に「和食」がユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録されてから5年が経過し、2019年にはG20サミットやラグビーW杯の日本初開催、そして2020年には東京オリンピック・パラリンピック開催と、日本を訪れる人々の数はこの数年でさらに増加が見込まれております。
世界から日本への注目が高まる中、私自身これまで2018ミス日本酒として6カ国12都市において日本酒・日本文化のプロモーション活動に参加させて頂きました。そうした中で、日本酒をはじめとした日本文化への関心の高まりを肌で感じて来ることができたと実感しております。
クールジャパンの大切な一要素である、日本の誇る『飲・食』の魅力をこれからも多くの方にお届けできるよう、自らも学びを深めつつ努めて参りたいと思っております。
この度はご多忙な中皆様に貴重なお時間を頂戴し、ミス日本酒の活動にも激励のお言葉を頂戴できましたことを大変光栄に思っております。改めまして、この度は誠に有難うございました。
またこの日活動のご報告を終えた後は、経済産業省職員の方に海外の方へ向け日本酒の魅力をお伝えするメッセージを撮影して頂きました。

Hello, everyone. This is Asami Sudo, 2018 Miss SAKE.
On November 15th, I made a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI, which has officially supported our activities as Miss SAKEs.
This time, we had an opportunity to talk with Mr. Masayoshi Mizuno, Deputy Director-General for Trade. Economic Cooperation and Export of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery Products, Mr. Kansuke Shimada, Deputy Director-General for Commerce and Service Industry Policy, and Ms. Ayako Hashimoto, Director of Cool Japan Promotion Office.
The METI has been promoting “Cool Japan” policies which aims at promotion and overseas expansion of Japanese culture and products and the inbound promotion.
As you may know, the mission of Miss SAKE is sharing the greatness Japanese culture through SAKE. So, we have carried our activities, hoping to contribute to the promotion of “Cool Japan” policies. This time, I had an opportunity to report on this year’s Miss SAKE activities. From this March, I myself could visit 12 cities of 6 countries and join the promotion activities of SAKE and Japanese culture.
It was an honor for me to have a chance to report our activities so far and have a lot of words of encouragement for our future activities. I extend my appreciation to Mr. Mizuno, Mr. Shimada and Ms. Hashimoto for making a valuable time in their busy schedules.
Also, on the day, I had a movie taken to share the greatness of SAKE to foreign people.
