皆様こんにちは、2024 Miss SAKE Japan 南侑里です。
2025年5月23日、フィリピン・マニラにあるオカダマニラ グランドボールルームにて開催されたSAKE MANILA 2025に、2025 Miss SAKE Philippines 村山さゆりさんとともに参加いたしました。
本イベントは、Philippines Wine Merchantが主催する、フィリピン随一の日本酒と日本文化の祭典で、今年で第2回目の開催を迎えました。昨年を大きく上回る盛り上がりを見せ、現地の日本酒ファンや食文化愛好家たちでにぎわいました。
会場には、日本全国から33の酒蔵を含む53の蔵・メーカーが集結。蔵元が自らブースに立ち、来場者と直接言葉を交わす場面も数多く見られました。
私たちは、石本酒造株式会社 越乃寒梅 様のブースを担当し、端正な味わいを現地の皆様にご紹介いたしました。文化も言語も異なる場所で、日本のお酒がこれほどまでに受け入れられている光景に、心からの感動と誇りを覚えました。
また、会場内外ではMiss SAKEのプロモーション映像も上映してくださっており、そのお心遣いがとても嬉しく、胸が熱くなりました。映像を通してMiss SAKEの活動や想いが伝わり、多くの方が足を止めてご覧くださっていたことに、深く感謝しております。
食と音と、五感で楽しむ和の祭典
イベントでは日本酒に加え、ウイスキー・ジン・焼酎・梅酒・甘酒・クラフトビール・ワイン・日本食などがずらりと並び、まさに和酒と食の祭典となっていました。料理は、日本食からイタリアンまでバリエーション豊か。中でも注目を集めたのは、黄色い背鰭のマグロが神輿で登場する演出。担がれながら入場したマグロには長蛇の列ができ、写真撮影や実食を楽しむ姿が会場中に広がりました。
会場には、お酒や食のブースだけでなく、F2 LOGISTICS様、CATHAY PACIFIC様、FNG様といった海外企業の出展もあり、さらにSPINGLE様、PLOOM様、MEVIUS様、Miss SAKEも日頃からお世話になっている酒豪伝説様といった企業も加わり、ライフスタイルや技術、ファッションなど多様な切り口から、日本文化の魅力を発信していました。
そして、夜にはDJによる華やかなプレイもスタートし、日本酒片手に音楽と共に楽しむという、新たなスタイルのSAKE体験が広がっていました。

今イベントのステージで誕生した2025 Miss SAKE Philippines 村山さゆりさんは、日本とフィリピンのダブルで、今後はタガログ語と英語を通して、日本酒の魅力を現地の方々に届けてくださいます。

私たちは一緒に各ブースを回り、フィリピンの方々に英語、タガログ語での会話を交わしながら、日本文化を伝える楽しさと責任を改めて実感しました。

Summary (English)
Hello everyone, this is Yuri Minami, 2024 Miss SAKE Japan.On May 23, 2025, I had the honor of participating in SAKE MANILA 2025, held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, together with Ms. Sayuri Murayama, newly crowned 2025 Miss SAKE Philippines.
Organized by Philippines Wine Merchant, this event is the Philippines’ leading celebration of Japanese sake and culture, now in its second year. With 53 participating breweries and makers—including 33 sake breweries from across Japan—the event was a vibrant gathering of sake lovers, food enthusiasts, and cultural ambassadors.
We represented Ishimoto Sake Brewery’s Koshino Kanbai booth, where we introduced the refined elegance of their sake to the local audience. It was deeply moving to see how warmly Japanese sake is embraced here, transcending language and culture.
The festival was not only about sake—it also featured whiskey, shochu, umeshu, gin, amazake, Japanese food, and more. A striking highlight was the ceremonial parade of a yellowfin tuna carried in on a mikoshi, drawing crowds and cameras. International companies like F2 Logistics, Cathay Pacific, FNG, and Japanese brands like SPINGLE, Ploom, and Mevius were also present, showcasing Japan’s lifestyle and innovation.
The event also marked the official debut of Miss SAKE Philippines. Sayuri Murayama delivered a heartfelt speech on stage, expressing her gratitude and her wish to deepen her knowledge of sake. Many attendees gathered to take photos and offer their support.
I was also grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with Mr. Shigeru Shimoda, President & CEO of Marubeni Philippines and Chairman of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, as well as friends from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and other colleagues from around the world.
I would like to express my sincere respect and heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Raymond of Philippines Wine Merchant, the organizer who brought this meaningful event to life,
to everyone involved in making it possible, to all the guests who attended, and to the many passionate brewers from across Japan who shared their sake with the people of the Philippines.
