2025年1月25日（土）鳥取県および大阪モノレール株式会社様主催の日本酒列車「鳥取かーにバル号」イベントに参加させていただきました。
このイベントは、大阪・関西万博2025に向けたイベントで、この時間のみ大阪モノレールの一部が鳥取の地酒列車として貸切運行されました。
私は2024 Miss SAKE鳥取として鳥取県の地酒のご紹介とPR活動を行いました。
(イベント概要)
「鳥取かーにバル号」は、万博記念公園駅を起点に、門真市駅、大阪空港駅等を経由して再び万博記念公園駅に戻るルートで運行されました。当日は、12:40発の第一便と17:15発の第二便、各便130名の定員でした。事前チケットは早々に完売御礼で鳥取の日本酒への関心の高さが伺えました。
(車内での地酒紹介)
車内では、鳥取県内の8つの酒蔵から提供された地酒を参加者に楽しんでいただきました。
出発と同時の一杯目は「出発進行〜！」で乾杯され、鳥取市たにもと酒店の谷本社長が鳥取の地酒秘話とともに、酒蔵の歴史や特徴、提供された地酒の製造方法や味わいのポイントを車両毎に説明されました。
私も各銘柄の特徴やおすすめの飲み方、合うお料理などをご紹介し、参加者の皆様に鳥取の地酒の多様性と魅力を伝えることができました。
(特製おつまみ弁当とのペアリング)
地酒と共に提供された特製おつまみ弁当は、大阪・箕面市のカフェ「ペルケ」様が、姉妹店の「源平桃」（大阪市福島区）と共同で考案されたもので、鳥取県産の食材がふんだんに使用されており、鳥取の地酒との相性抜群メニュー構成となっていました。
(参加者の反応と交流)
参加者の皆様からは、「初めて飲む鳥取の地酒が多く、新しい発見があった」「各地酒の背景や特徴を知ることで、より美味しく感じられた」といった感想をいただきました。また、地酒に関する質問や意見交換も活発に行われ、鳥取の地酒への関心の高さを実感しました。
蟹や豪華景品が準備されたじゃんけん大会や抽選会も車両毎に開催され、イベントは大盛況となりました。
起点となった大阪の万博記念公園駅では、鳥取のマスコットキャラクターのトリピー、大阪万博のキャラクター、ミャクミャクも登場！
ステージイベントにて鳥取市の歴史ある因幡の傘踊りや、鳥取の物産や蟹汁提供もあり、Miss SAKEのPRもさせていただきました。
今回の「鳥取かーにバル号」での活動を通じて、鳥取県の地酒の魅力を多くの方々に直接伝えることができ、大変有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。今後も日本酒アンバサダーとして、鳥取の地酒の素晴らしさを広める活動に努めてまいります。ありがとうございました。

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, I had the honor of participating in the special event “Tottori Carnival Train(sake train) co-hosted by Tottori Prefecture and Osaka Monorail Co., Ltd. This event was part of the lead-up to the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, during which a segment of the Osaka Monorail was exclusively operated as a Tottori sake train for a limited time. As 2024 Miss SAKE Tottori, I engaged in introducing and promoting Tottori’s local sake.
Event Overview
The “Tottori Carnival Train” departed from Banpaku-Kinen-Koen Station, passing through Kadoma-shi Station and Osaka Airport Station, before returning to Banpaku-Kinen-Koen Station. On that day, there were two runs: the first at 12:40 PM and the second at 5:15 PM, each accommodating 130 participants. The advance tickets sold out quickly, reflecting the high interest in Tottori’s sake.
Introduction of Local Sake Onboard
Onboard, participants enjoyed local sake from eight breweries in Tottori Prefecture. With the first toast at departure, Mr. Tanimoto, president of Tanimoto Sake Shop in Tottori City, shared behind-the-scenes stories of Tottori’s sake, explaining the history and characteristics of each brewery, as well as the brewing methods and tasting notes of the provided sake, moving from car to car. I also introduced the features of each label, recommended ways to enjoy them, and suitable dishes, conveying the diversity and allure of Tottori’s local sake to the participants.
Pairing with Special Bento Box
The special snack bento provided alongside the sake was jointly devised by Café Perché in Minoh City, Osaka, and its sister store Genpei Momo in Fukushima Ward, Osaka City. The bento abundantly utilized ingredients from Tottori Prefecture, offering a menu that perfectly complemented Tottori’s local sake.
Participant Reactions and Interactions
Participants shared impressions such as, “There were many Tottori sakes I tried for the first time, and it was a new discovery,” and “Knowing the background and characteristics of each sake made them taste even better.” Active questions and exchanges about sake took place, making me realize the high interest in Tottori’s local sake. Rock-paper-scissors tournaments and lotteries with crab and luxurious prizes were held in each car, making the event a great success.
At Banpaku-Kinen-Koen Station in Osaka, the starting point, Tottori’s mascot character Toripy and the Osaka Expo character Myakumyaku made appearances! Stage events featured Tottori City’s traditional Inaba Umbrella Dance, as well as showcases of Tottori’s products and crab soup, where I also had the opportunity to promote Miss SAKE.
Through the activities on the “Tottori Carnival Train,” I was able to directly convey the charm of Tottori Prefecture’s local sake to many people, spending a very meaningful time. I will continue to strive to spread the excellence of Tottori’s local sake as a sake&tottori ambassador. Thank you so much!
