皆様こんにちは。2018 ミス日本酒の須藤亜紗実です。11月10日、Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centreにて開催されたHong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2018 にて【2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong 開催発表会】を行って参りました。
今年で設立6年目を迎えたミス日本酒でありますが、2019年からは海外複数地域での大会開催も決定しており、今後は私達自身が海外にて日本酒・日本文化の魅力をお伝えするのみではなく、諸外国を拠点とした現地からの活発な日本酒・日本文化の魅力発信が実現に向かうこととなります。この度は、その海外大会の一つである【2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong】の開催発表会を行って参りました。
香港では、ワインやスピリッツ等の飲料産業総合専門誌「Cru Magazine」を発刊していらっしゃるCru Media Ltd.様が私たちのブランドパートナーとなられ、【Miss SAKE Hong Kong】を開催・運営してくださいます。

この度の【2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong 開催発表会】では、Cru Media Ltd. Co-founder/ Cru Magazine Executive Director でいらっしゃるNicholas Siu様とともに、ミス日本酒のこれまでの活動について、そしてミス日本酒 香港大会開催に向けた今後の展開についてご紹介をさせて頂きました。

今後、来年3月までには香港にて【2019 ミス日本酒 香港大会】が開催され、2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kongが決定いたします。そして彼女は今後一年間に渡り「日本の魅力」「日本酒の魅力」を発信するアンバサダーとして、香港内外にて活動を行うことととなります。また、2019年3月15日に京都にて開催される 【2019 ミス日本酒 日本大会 最終選考会】にも参加をして頂きます。
初のMiss SAKE Hong Kongの誕生、そしてMiss SAKE Hong Kongが香港におけるSAKE culture発展の一助となることを私も大変楽しみにしております。

そして【2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong 開催発表会】終了後は、Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2018会場内の日本酒ブースを回らせて頂きました。
今年で11回目を迎えたHong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fairは世界中のバイヤー、生産者、ソムリエ、ホテリエ、レストラン、輸入業者、ディストリビューター等から大きな注目を集める、アジア最大級の酒類専門見本市です。今年は世界中から1000社を超える出展社が参加されており、会場は大変な熱気に包まれておりました。

当日は日本酒のブースにも常時大変多くの来場者の方々がいらっしゃり、各地域・各蔵元様の日本酒を楽しそうに比較試飲していらっしゃる姿が大変印象的でした。
また、会場内では多くの皆様にお声がけをして頂き、Miss SAKE Hong Kong開催の開催を知っていただけましたこと、そしてたくさんの応援の言葉を頂戴いたしましたことを大変光栄に思っております。
改めまして、Cru Media Ltd. Co-founder/ Cru Magazine Executive Director Nicholas Siu様をはじめ、このような素晴らしい機会を頂戴いたしました関係者の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。今後のMiss SAKE Hong Kongの展開を私も大変楽しみにしております。

Hello, everyone. This is Asami Sudo, 2018 Miss SAKE. On November 10th, I joined the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2018 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and held the 2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong Launching Ceremony.
This year is the sixth year of Miss SAKE Association and, as for 2019, Miss SAKE competitions in several foreign countries were decided to be held, which means we’re going to have goodwill ambassadors of SAKE and Japanese culture not just within Japan but around the world.
In 2019, Miss SAKE HongKong, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia are going to be held, and on the day we had the 2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong Launching Ceremony.
Our partner in HongKong is Cru Media Ltd. They publish a bilingual wine magazine, Cru, which features latest news and in-depth stories on wine, spirits and other kinds of beverages as well as featuring food, fashion, beauty, travel and the latest trends on the market.
At the 2019 Miss SAKE Hong Kong Launching Ceremony, Ms. Rebecca Leung (梁淑意), a Wine&Spirits Broadcaster, and Mr. Nicholas Siu, Cru Magazine Co-founder and Executive Director, acted as double MCs and talked on what Miss SAKE is and what Miss SAKE Hong Kong will be like. And as a guest, I introduced my reason to apply for Miss SAKE and what the competition was like as well as the activities of Miss SAKE so far.
2019 Miss SAKE HongKong is going to be decided by next March, and she’s going to work as goodwill ambassador of Sake and Japanese for a year to come.

Also, she’ll attend the 2019 Miss SAKE Japan Competition in March In Kyoto, Japan as a special guest with 2019 Miss SAKE Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia!
I’m looking forward to seeing the first Miss SAKE HongKong next year, and hope the Miss SAKE HongKong project will help the greater development of SAKE culture in HongKong.
