12月8日に、カンボジア王国プノンペンの在カンボジア日本国大使館主催の在カンボジア日本大使公邸にて開催されました、「日本カンボジア友好70周年クロージングセレモニー」に2022 Miss SAKE 岐阜 岡崎陽子さんと参加してまいりました。
＜日本とカンボジア友好70周年＞
2023年1月9日、日本とカンボジアは外交関係樹立70周年を迎えました。
この長い友好の歴史と様々な交流事業を振り返り、今年を「日カンボジア友好70周年」としてお祝いが行われました。
在カンボジア日本国大使館では、この記念すべき年を祝うため「日カンボジア友好70周年実行委員会事務局」を立ち上げられ、2023年を日本とカンボジア両国の新たな時代の幕開けになるような年にしたいとホームページにて発表されております。
事務局ではロゴマークも公募にて募集され、11月12日、カンボジア王国プノンペンで開催された日・カンボジア首脳会談において、2023年の「日・カンボジア外交関係樹立70周年」のロゴマークが発表されました。

＜日本カンボジア友好70周年クロージングセレモニー＞
日本カンボジア友好70周年クロージングセレモニーは、在カンボジア日本国大使館主催のもと、プノンペンにあります在カンボジア日本大使公邸にて開催されました。
私たちは、クロージングセレモニーのおもてなしとして、岐阜県 多治見酒造協同組合の皆様と一緒にブースにて日本酒の振舞いのお手伝いをさせていただきました。
この日、いらしていた酒蔵様は、以下の５蔵でした。

会場では、カンボジア王国の副首相をはじめとして様々な大臣の皆様もいらっしゃり、皆さまと日本酒で乾杯をさせていただきました。
そのほかにも、Miss SAKEとして日本酒と日本文化のアンバサダーとしての活動についてや、日本酒についてなどご説明をさせていただきました。日本酒の味わいの違いを飲み比べいただきながら直接私が作りや味わいの違いを解説をさせていただいたのですが、「日本酒の幅広さに感動した」や「この日本酒だったらお寿司に合わせたい」などお声をいただき、日本酒に関心を寄せていただくきっかけを作ることができ大変嬉しかったです。
この度は、日本とカンボジアにとって大変重要なお祝いの場に私たちも同席させていただきまして誠にありがとうございます。これからも日本酒、そして日本酒から広がる日本文化の美しさをお伝えできますよう精進してまいります。

Hello, everyone.
I am Yamada Kotoko, Miss SAKE Japan 2023.
On December 18th, I had the honor of attending the “70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between Cambodia and Japan Closing Ceremony” at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, alongside 2022 Miss SAKE from Gifu, Ms. Yoko Okazaki.
<70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between Cambodia and Japan>
Japan and Cambodia celebrated the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations on January 9th, 2023. To commemorate this enduring friendship and various exchange projects, this year was designated as the “70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between Cambodia and Japan.”
The Embassy of Japan in Cambodia established the “70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Between Cambodia and Japan Executive Committee” to celebrate this significant year and announced on their website their intentions to make 2023 a new era for both Japan and Cambodia.
As part of this initiative, the Committee held a logo design contest, and during the Japan-Cambodia summit held in Phnom Penh on November 12th, the logo was unveiled.

<The Closing Ceremony>
The Closing Ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia, took place at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia in Phnom Penh.
As part of the ceremony, we, along with representatives from multiple sake breweries from Gifu Prefecture, had the privilege of assisting in serving Japanese sake at the booth provided as a gesture of hospitality.

The venue welcomed esteemed guests, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and various ministers. We had the honor of toasting with Japanese sake with some of the attendees.
Additionally, as Miss SAKE ambassadors, we had the opportunity to explain and share insights about Japanese sake and its cultural significance. I personally provided explanations about the differences in sake flavors, conducting tastings and guiding discussions. It was incredibly heartening to receive comments such as “I’m amazed by the diversity of Japanese sake” or “I’d love to pair this particular sake with sushi,” indicating a growing interest in Japanese sake.
We are deeply grateful for the chance to participate in such a significant celebration for Japan and Cambodia. While our contributions may be modest, we are committed to continually enhancing our efforts to convey the beauty of Japanese sake and the broader Japanese culture.
