G20福岡財務大臣・中央銀行総裁等代理級レセプション、同代理級・代表団向けディナーパーティーに、2018 ミス日本酒 福岡代表 山本みずきが参加してまいりました。
皆様、こんにちは。2018 ミス日本酒 福岡代表の山本みずきです。
今週末のG20の財務大臣・中央銀行総裁会議に先立ち、6月6日（水）〜7日（金）にかけてG20福岡財務大臣・中央銀行総裁等代理級レセプション、同代理級・代表団向けディナーが開催され、2018 ミス日本酒 福岡代表として参加してまいりました。
G20財務大臣・中央銀行総裁会議とは1999年以降毎年開催されています。国際金融システム上重要な国々が、主要な国際経済問題について議論し、世界経済の安定的かつ持続可能な成長の達成に向けて協力することを目的としています。
この度の財務大臣・中央銀行総裁会議の為に、G７（日本・カナダ・フランス・ドイツ・イタリア・イギリス・アメリカ）、アルゼンチン、オーストラリア、ブラジル、中国、インド、インドネシア、韓国、メキシコ、ロシア、サウジアラビア、南アフリカ、トルコ、その他招待国の各国財務大臣、財務大臣代理、中央銀行総裁とEU議長国財務大臣と欧州中央銀行（ECB)総裁のほか、国際通貨基金（IMF）や世界銀行等の国際金融機関の代表および職員の方々がヒルトン福岡シーホークに集いました。
レセプション会場では福岡県産の日本酒を提供するブースを設置し、各国の事務次官や随行者の皆様に英語で説明を加えながら、豊富な種類の地酒を楽しんでいただきました。
世界経済を支えている各国政府の代表が、現在世界が直面している経済問題の解決に向けて朝から会議を重ねる姿は、緊張感をも感じさせました。
なかには「まだ仕事が残っているから」と言って残念そうに日本酒ブースを去る方もいましたが、その一方では「舐める程度に」と少し口にふくみ、最終的には様々な銘柄を試してすっかり日本酒の虜になっているような方もいました。
何より福岡県産の様々な種類の日本酒がずらりと並ぶ光景それ自体が美しく、個性豊かな数々の瓶を写真に撮る姿も見られました。
ただでさえ会議で気の抜けない数日間だと思いますので、夜のレセプション会場でのひと時が、各国の皆様にとって福岡の魅力を感じ、癒しの時間となっていれば幸いです。
財務省の皆様、福岡県庁企画・地域振興部国際曲国際政策課の皆様、この度は大変貴重な機会を誠にありがとうございました。

Hello everyone. I am Mizuki Yamamoto, 2018 Miss SAKE Fukuoka.
Before the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Fukuoka this weekend, a reception for representatives of finance ministers and central bank governors and a dinner party for representatives and delegates was held. I had an opportunity to participate in the reception, as a Fukuoka Prefecture representative of Miss SAKE 2018.
G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting has been held annually since 1999. Countries essential for the international financial system discuss significant issues regarding international economics and aim cooperation for a stable and sustainable world economy.
This year, finance ministers, their representatives, and Central Bank Governors from G7 countries (Japan, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Britain, US), Argentina, Australia, South Korea, Mexico, Russia Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, and other invitee countries, representatives and staff of international financial organizations such as IMF and IBRD gathered at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk Hotel.
We installed a booth at the reception hall to provide the guests with sake from Fukuoka, and vice ministers and attendants from each country were satisfied by a variety of local brew.
The scenery of representatives from each country spending many hours for the conference from the morning, discussing solutions for world economic affairs, had a tense atmosphere.
Among the participants were people who would leave the booth, saying that they still have work to do. In the meanwhile, some participants would say “Sipping wouldn’t harm.” and eventually get attracted.
Most of all, the lineup of a variety of sake was a beautiful scene. We could observe some participants taking photographs of the uniquely designed bottles.
As the atmosphere was tense during the meeting, I hope the participants had enjoyed the reception by feeling the charm of Fukuoka and getting relaxed.
I like to thank the members of the Ministry of Finance and Fukuoka Prefecture for the extraordinary opportunity.
