2025 Miss SAKE 愛知 齋藤希です。
このたび、Miss SAKE 愛知事務局にご同行いただき、母校であり現在も学んでいる南山大学を表敬訪問し、ロバート・キサラ学長にご挨拶をさせていただきました。
Hi, I am Nozomi Saito, 2025 Miss SAKE Aichi.
It was my great honor to pay a courtesy visit to my alma mater, Nanzan University, accompanied by the Miss SAKE Aichi Office, where I had the privilege of meeting President Robert Kisala.
在学中に Miss SAKE 愛知代表として活動できることをご報告できたのは大変光栄であり、学生としても身の引き締まる思いでした。面会の際、学長からは「南山大学の誇りです」と温かいお言葉をいただき、胸が熱くなりました。また、学長ご自身が日本酒をお好きでいらっしゃることを伺い、おすすめの銘柄を尋ねてくださったことも大変嬉しく、日本酒を通じて自然と会話が弾みました。
Being able to report that I am serving as Miss SAKE Aichi while still enrolled as a student was both a distinguished honor and a reminder of the responsibility I bear as a representative of the university. During the meeting, President Kisala graciously remarked, “You are a pride of Nanzan University,” which deeply touched me. I was further delighted to learn of his fondness for Japanese sake, and his request for recommendations led to a natural and heartfelt exchange.
学長訪問の後には、国際教養学部の先生方ともお会いし、記念写真を撮らせていただきました。三枚目の写真では、以下の先生方とご一緒しています。

Following the courtesy call, I was pleased to meet with faculty members of the Faculty of Global Liberal Studies and to take commemorative photographs together. The third photo features the following professors:
- Professor Gabriel Yardley (Applied Linguistics)
- Professor Richard Miles (Teaching English as a Second Language & Rhetoric)
- Professor Satomi Shiodera (Plant Ecology, Global Environmental Studies)
- Professor Takakazu Yamagishi (Political Science: American Politics, Japanese Politics, Social Policy)
日頃から授業でお世話になっている先生方に、Miss SAKE としての活動をご報告できたことは学生として特別な喜びであり、自分の学びと活動が確かにつながっていると強く実感するひとときでした。
It was a special joy to share my Miss SAKE activities with professors who have guided me in my studies. This occasion allowed me to reaffirm how closely my academic pursuits are interwoven with my role as Miss SAKE.
国際教養学部で得た国際的な視野や、言語を通じて人と人をつなぐ力は、まさに日本酒を国内外へ広める活動に直結しています。Miss SAKE の使命は、日本酒文化を伝えるだけでなく、そこに込められた地域の歴史や人々の想いを届けることです。大学での学びを活動に活かしながら、私は愛知の日本酒の魅力を未来へ、そして世界へとつないでいきたいと考えています。
The international perspective fostered through my studies, as well as the ability to connect people through language, directly supports the mission of Miss SAKE: not only to promote the culture of sake, but also to convey the history, traditions, and heartfelt passion of the people behind it. By applying what I have learned at Nanzan University, I am determined to further communicate the appeal of Aichi sake to both future generations and the wider world.
今回の表敬訪問を通じて、南山大学の一員であることへの誇りと責任を改めて強くしました。そして、母校からいただいた温かい励ましを胸に、今後の Miss SAKE 活動に一層真摯に取り組んでまいります。
Through this visit, I renewed my pride and sense of responsibility as a member of Nanzan University. Encouraged by the warm support of my alma mater, I will continue to devote myself with sincerity to my Miss SAKE mission.
最後になりましたが、温かく迎えてくださったロバート・キサラ学長、国際教養学部の先生方、そしてご同行くださった Miss SAKE 愛知事務局の皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
