皆さま、こんにちは。
2019 Miss SAKE 新潟の鈴木聖袈です。
この度、度重なる台風により甚大な被害にあわれた方々に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
今後も台風20号、21号の上陸も予想されておりますので、早めの避難等、皆さまの命第一の行動をお願い申し上げます。
10月19日、新潟市のANAクラウンプラザホテル新潟にて開催されました【新潟大学・全学同窓会交流会】に司会として参加させていただきました。
私も在学しています、新潟大学の全学同窓会に2019 Miss SAKE 新潟として参加させたいただいたことは大変光栄でした。
新潟大学は新潟県新潟市にあります、国立の総合大学です。
学部は医学部・歯学部・理学部・工学部・農学部・人文学部・教育学部・法学部・経済学部・創生学部の10から成り立っています。
この度行われました新潟大学・全学同窓会交流会は10の学部全体で行われる同窓会として12年前から開催されているそうです。
新潟大学は昨年度に「日本酒学」という醸造や歴史、健康など様々な視点から日本酒を学ぶ学問領域を設立されました。
酒どころである新潟という土地、総合大学という強みを活かして日本酒を学べる点が魅力です。
今回の新潟大学・全学同窓会交流会におきましても新潟県内の88の酒蔵様のうち、40種の日本酒が振舞われました。
さらに、それらの日本酒のほとんどは新潟の酒造好適米であります、越淡麗が使われた日本酒でした。
このように地元の日本文化を学問領域で盛り上げていくということは本当に素晴らしいことですし、新潟ならではではないかと感じております。
私も新潟大学大学院におきまして、日本酒学に関わる研究をさせていただいております。
さらに、今年度は2019 Miss SAKE 新潟として活動させていただいているということで、微力ながら日本酒学の認知へ貢献できたらと考えております。
この度は素敵な機会をくださいました新潟大学歯学部 鈴木一郎様、佐藤拓一様をはじめ、新潟大学・全学同窓会交流会の実行委員の皆様には大変感謝申し上げます。ありがとうございました。

Hello everyone.
This is Seika Suzuki, 2019 Miss SAKE Niigata.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to those who have been severely damaged by repeated typhoons.
As typhoon No. 20 and No. 21 are expected to land in the future, we ask for your first actions, such as early evacuation.
The other day, I participated in the Niigata University Alumni Exchange Meeting held at the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Niigata in Niigata City. I am also very honored to have participated in the Niigata University Alumni Association as a 2019 Miss SAKE Niigata.
Niigata University is a national university located in Niigata City, Niigata.
The Faculty consists of 10 departments: Medical School, Dental School, Science School, Engineering School, Agricultural School, Humanities School, School of Education, Law School, Economics School, and School of Creation.
The Niigata University Alumni Exchange Meeting has been held for 12 years.
Niigata University established an academic field called “Sakeology” last year to study sake from various perspectives such as brewing, history, health and so on. It is the strength ofNiigata that you can learn sake from many aspects.
In this Niigata University Alumni Exchange Meeting, 40 types of sake were served out of 88 sake breweries in Niigata Prefecture. In addition, most of those sake are used sake brewing rice of Niigata, Koshitanrei.
It is really wonderful to excite local Japanese culture in the academic field in this way, and I feel that it is unique to Niigata.
I research related to sakeology at Niigata University Graduate School. In addition, I’m 2019 Miss SAKE Niigata this year, and I hope to contribute to the recognition of sakeology.
I would like to express my gratitude to Niigata University Faculty of Dentistry, Mr. Ichiro Suzuki, Mr. Takuichi Sato, and other members of the Niigata University Alumni Exchange Committee, who gave me a wonderful opportunity. Thank you very much.
