3月28日、第三回ナデシコプログラムが行われ、私も参加して参りました。
この日は着付け講師 前井雅美様による着付け講座（お着物編）、その後は私の和髪講座、最後には一般社団法人ミス日本酒 メディアディレクターの方より『Miss SAKE Channel特別講座』が行われました。
様々なレッスンが組み込まれているナデシコプログラムの中でも、着付け講座は今後の活動を行うにあたり大変重要な講座の一つです。振袖は帯の結び方が一般的なお着物とは異なる “変わり結び”となるため、本来であれば自装することは難しいとされておりますが、Miss SAKEの活動においてはヘア・メイクから着付けまでを全て自身で行います。

そして日本全国や海外でのイベントに参加するMiss SAKEの活動では、余裕を持って着付けをする時間が取れないことも十分に考えられ、毎回鏡がある広いスペースで着付けを行えるとも限りません。従って、Miss SAKEの着付けでは『畳半畳のスペースで、鏡を見なくとも、早く美しく着付けができること』が必要となります。
本来ならば習得に数ヶ月以上の時間を要する、そうした振袖の自装をナデシコプログラムでは3回のレッスンで行います。
ほとんどのファイナリストの方が、今回のナデシコプログラムで初めてお振袖の自装を行うということもあり、まだ慣れない点も多いようではありましたが、メモを取りながら熱心に自装に取り組む皆さんの姿を拝見し、私も昨年の自身の経験を思い出しながら胸が熱くなる想いを感じました。
お振袖の自装を習得するにあたって大切なことは「向上心」と「復習」。今はまだ、自身で満足のいくような着付けには至っていないかもしれませんが、向上心を持ちながら幾度も練習を重ねれば必ずその努力が仕上がりに現れる、自身の経験上そう信じております。
Miss SAKEとして様々な経験させて頂く機会を頂戴しましたが、その中でも、何度も繰り返し練習し自分が納得の行く自装ができるようになった際の歓びは、私の中で今でも鮮明に思い出すことができます。
また自身でお着物の着付けができるようになることは、Miss SAKEとしてだけでなく、日本人女性としての自信や品格に繋がる大変貴重な財産です。是非ナデシコプログラムのこの機会を通し、ファイナリストの皆さんが美しい着付けを習得できますようと、切に願っております。
そして、続く和髪講座では、基本となるヘアセット数パターンの方法をお教え致しました。壇上に上がるだけでなく多くの方と直接お話しする機会が多いMiss SAKEの活動では、お着物だけでなく髪型も細部まで美しくあるよう気を配らなければなりません。
また、人それぞれ似合うスタイルや髪の量・長さも異なり、着付けと同様に和髮も練習や研究が何よりも大切となります。
最後の講義では、一般社団法人ミス日本酒 メディアディレクターの方より、『Miss SAKE Channel特訓講座』が行われました。昨年開設致しましたMiss SAKE Channelの意義、そして今後の皆さんにも作成頂く動画の概要説明が行われ、私の方からも一年弱の活動の中で会得した、動画編集の方法・サムネイル作成の一連の作業を皆さんにご説明させていただきました。
二日間で多くのことを教わり戸惑いも多かったのではないか…と不安に思うなか、ファイナリストの皆さんからは『新しい知識の会得に対する歓びの声』をお聞きすることができました。
2021 Miss SAKEファイナリストの皆さんとの出会いを通じて、その直向きな姿勢に、私自身大変感銘を受けました。
不安を感じる部分も、これより先はひたすら練習が自信を育んでくれます。今回の学びを是非実践へと活かしていただき、皆さんの更なる飛躍を、心より応援しております。
改めまして、着付け講座をしてくださいました着付け講師の前井雅美先生、この度は貴重なお時間を誠に有難うございました。

Hello, everyone. This is Shihori Matsui, 2020 Miss SAKE Japan.
On the 28th of March, I have attended the 3rd Nadeshiko Program. On the day, we had a furisode-dressing lesson by Ms. Masami Maei, and I carried out a Japanese-style hair set lesson. Furthermore, there was a lesson about the “Miss SAKE Channel” by the Media Director of Miss SAKE Association.
Furisode is a formal style of kimono for young unmarried women, and it is designed for them to get dressed up by someone. Thus, putting on furisode by ourselves is technically difficult. Furthermore, when we wear furisode as Miss SAKEs, we must get dressed beautifully in a short amount of time, sometimes without having a mirror and in a limited amount of space. Hence, among the various kinds of Nadeshiko Program lessons, furisode dressing is one of the most important ones.
Kimono/Furisode is a garment that is uniquely Japanese; no other people group has a style of dress like it. It was the first time for most of the finalists to put on Furisode by themselves, so it seemed that they had many troubles during the lesson. However, they were working extremely hard to acquire the furisode-dressing skills. Acquiring a new skill is not an easy process. However, in terms of Furisode, practice is the only way to get better, thus countless hours of practicing directly equal a beautiful result.
Following the furisode-dressing lesson, I taught them Japanese-style hairdos by ourselves. Japanese hairdos when wearing kimono need an impression of refinement and elegance. Also, the “best style” differs from person to person and depending on the occasion. So, I taught them that the best way to master the hairdos is an everyday practice, just the same as kimono dressing.
Finally, by the Media Director from the Miss SAKE Association, there was a tutorial on the ways of making a video we upload on the Miss SAKE Channel. I have also mentioned the ways of making a good thumbnail. YouTube thumbnail is often the first thing a potential viewer sees when browsing YouTube, so it is critical that it grabs their attention and tells them exactly what they’ll get when they watch your video.
By the lessons of the day, I believe the finalists learned a lot for their future activities. I hope and believe they will be able to master the skills by every day’s practice.
