皆さま、こんにちは。
2023 Miss SAKE 山田琴子と申します。
2023年6月23日にウェスティン都ホテル京都にて2023 Miss SAKE 最終選考会が開催され、私、山田琴子が10代目のMiss SAKE Japanとして活動させていただく運びとなりました。
2014年の初代Miss SAKEの誕生から始まったMiss SAKEの活動も今年で10年目を迎えます。Miss SAKEにとっても節目の年である10代目のMiss SAKEとして選出いただきましたこと、大変嬉しく、身の引き締まる思いでございます。
私が自信を持って最終選考会の場で皆様の前に立つことができたのは、3ヶ月のナデシコプログラムでの学びと、多くの方との出会いとお力添えがあったからこそだと確信しております。

私は、大学生活を4年間アメリカにて過ごし、その際に【日本酒や日本文化が繋げるご縁】の力を体感いたしました。一杯のお酒を酌み交わすことでつながるご縁の力で、これまで世界23カ国に親友を作ることができました。
日本酒をはじめとする日本の文化には人と人を結ぶ力があると私は信じております。
この人を繋げることができる日本酒の力で、日本酒の一滴一滴に込められた日本の伝統と文化、そして想いという物語を世界へ広めて参ります。
2023 ファイナリスト一同、一丸となって日本酒と日本文化の魅力を発信してまいります。
皆様にも引き続き、ご指導ご鞭撻を賜りましたら幸いです。

2023 Miss SAKE Japan Kotoko Yamada’s Greeting Video Released
Hello, everyone.
I am Kotoko Yamada, the 2023 Miss SAKE Japan.
On June 23, 2023, the final selection for the 2023 Miss SAKE took place at The Westin Miyako Kyoto, and I am honored to be chosen as the 10th Miss SAKE Japan.
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of Miss SAKE’s activities, which began with the crowning of the first Miss SAKE in 2014. Being selected as the 10th Miss SAKE, a significant milestone for Miss SAKE, fills me with immense joy and a strong sense of responsibility.
I firmly believe that I was able to stand confidently before all of you at the final selection thanks to the knowledge gained during the three-month Nadeshiko Program and the support and connections I have built along the way. I extend my gratitude to everyone who has been supporting me.
To mark this special occasion, I have created a video message to express my thoughts upon assuming this role. In the video, I share my greetings, enthusiasm, and offer a brief introduction about myself. I hope you can take a moment to watch it:
During my four years of university life in the United States, I experienced the power of “Shu-en,” the connections formed through Japanese sake and culture. Through the bonds created by sharing a glass of sake, I have made friends in 23 countries around the world.
I firmly believe that Japanese culture, including sake, has the ability to unite people.
With the power of sake to connect people, I am dedicated to spreading the stories of Japan’s traditions, culture, and heartfelt emotions, each drop of sake representing a unique narrative, to the world. Along with my fellow finalists of 2023, we will collectively strive to promote the charm of Japanese sake and culture.
I humbly ask for your continued guidance and support as we embark on this journey. Thank you very much.
