Asami Sudo, 2018 Miss SAKE, joined the presentation ceremony of letters of appreciation to Saitama sake breweries with Miss Sawako Takeda, 2018 Miss SAKE Saitama.

皆様、こんにちは。2018 ミス日本酒の須藤亜紗実です。
7月23日、埼玉県知事公館 大会議室にて『埼玉県酒造業感謝状贈呈式』が執り行われ、2018 ミス日本酒 埼玉代表の武田紗和子さんとともに参加して参りました。
埼玉県では平成29酒造年度全国新酒鑑評会において清酒3銘柄が金賞を受賞されました。埼玉県酒造業感謝状贈呈式では受賞された3社の酒造業振興への貢献を評し、上田清司知事より感謝状が贈呈されました。
受賞された金賞受賞企業様、及び受賞酒は以下の3酒造様です。
株式会社釜屋様『力士』
横田酒造 株式会社様 『日本橋』
北西酒造 株式会社様 『文楽』
贈呈式では、埼玉県知事 上田清司様、金賞受賞企業代表者／埼玉県酒造組合会長 松岡良治様、そして受賞された三酒造様の社長よりご挨拶がありました。
上田知事からは、金賞を受賞された三酒造様への栄誉を称えるお言葉とともに、鑑評会での受賞・入賞には関わらずとも多様性や新規性も持ち合わせる埼玉県の日本酒業界に対し、益々の期待のお言葉が掛けられておりました。
また、埼玉県酒造組合会長 松岡様からは、現在の日本酒を取り巻く状況についてお話があり、全国的に見ても埼玉県では日本酒全般、特に特定名称酒への関心が高まりつつあるとのお話がありました。そしてこうした県内の日本酒人気の高まりに、より一層の尽力ができますよう今後も素晴らしい日本酒をお造りになられると意気込みをお話しくださいました。
日本酒とその日本酒が造られる『地域』とは、やはり切っても切り離すことができない関係にあります。
地域の食文化や、気候、自然環境、その地ならではの伝統、技術。そうしたいくつもの要素の表われである『地酒』には、地域のPR、地域への観光誘致、地域振興へと繋がる大きな可能性が秘められていると感じております。
今回、埼玉県酒造業感謝状贈呈式に参加させていただき、そうした日本酒の持つ『地域振興』の可能性についても改めて感じることができました。
この度は、このような栄誉ある式に参加させて頂き、誠に有難うございました。
そしてこの度金賞を受賞されました株式会社 釜屋様、横田酒造 株式会社様、北西酒造 株式会社様には心からお祝いを申し上げますとともに、今後益々のご発展を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Hello, everyone. This is Asami Sudo, 2018 Miss SAKE.
On July 23rd, I joined the presentation ceremony of letters of appreciation to Saitama sake breweries with Miss Sawako Takeda, 2018 Miss SAKE Saitama.
The presentation ceremony was held to appreciate the honor of three breweries in Saitama which won gold prizes at the greatest sake appraisal in Japan in 2018.
The three breweries and sake brand which won the gold prizes are as follows.
Kamaya Co,Ltd “Rikishi”
Yokota Sake Brewery Co,Ltd “Nihonbashi”
Kitanishi Sake Brewery Co,Ltd “Bunraku”
At the ceremony, Mr. Kiyoshi Ueda, the prefectural governor of Saitama, made a speech honoring the three breweries and expecting further development of Saitama sake industry.
Mr. Matsuoka, executive chairperson of Saitama Sake Brewer’s Association, talked about the recent situation of sake consumption in Japan and mentioned the consumption in Saitama has grown relatively higher than that of average in Japan. He said they would continue to try their best to keep the trend.
It was an honor for us to join such a great ceremony. Through the great opportunity, we could once again realize that sake has considerable possibilities to lead to regional activation and regional development.
We extend our congratulations on the gold prizes of the Kamaya Co,Ltd, Yokota Sake Brewery Co,Ltd and Kitanishi Sake Brewery Co,Ltd, and wish the breweries continued success.
