皆様こんにちは。2018 ミス日本酒の須藤亜紗実です。
10月9日夜は、日比谷松本楼本店にて開催された『WSET SAKE Educator ジャパン・スタディー・ツアー報告会及び交流会』に参加して参りました。
WSET（Wine&Spirits Education Trust）はロンドンに本部を置き、現在世界70ヶ国以上で年間約72,000人が学んでいる、世界最大のワイン教育機関です。そんなWSETに2014年、日本酒を世界標準知識として学ぶためのSAKE講座が開講され、現在では同講座受講者は5,000人を超え、講師の方々も世界25ケ国100名を超えているのだそうです。
この度は、同講座責任者のAntony Moss様と開発マネージャーの菊谷なつき様、そして同講座発起者であり、ミス日本酒の顧問でもいらっしゃる株式会社コーポ・サチ 代表取締役 平出淑恵様主催の元、SAKE講座開講以来初となる「Educator 向け ジャパン・スタディー・ツアー」が開催されました。
そしてツアー最終日のこの日は、ツアーに参加された5ヶ国9名のトップ講師の皆様よる、各国・地域の日本酒情勢に関するセミナーを伺って参りました。

各国での日本酒教育を牽引していらっしゃるトップ講師の皆様から、それぞれの国でのSAKEの飲酒頻度や嗜好の傾向、市場の現状や今後の展望に至るまで最先端の情報をたっぷりと伺うことができ、世界での日本酒展開の情勢について大変多くのことを学ばせて頂きました。
またセミナー後の交流会では、報告会に参加された23の蔵元様の日本酒が振舞われ、国内の日本酒の製造や流通、販売、教育等に関わる多くの皆様、そして各国のWSET SAKE 講師の皆様との交流の場が設けられておりました。

こうして2018 ミス日本酒としてこの会に参加させて頂くことができ、たくさんの貴重な学び、そして多くの方々とお話しする機会を頂戴することができましたことを、心より光栄に思っております。
今回得られた貴重な学びを今後の活動に活かし、国内外に日本酒の魅力をお伝えできるよう、より一層精進して参りたいと思っております。改めまして、この度はこのような素晴らしい会に参加させて頂き誠に有難うございました。

Hello, everyone. This is Asami Sudo, 2018 Miss SAKE.
On October 9th, I attended the WSET SAKE Educators’ JAPAN Study Tour debriefing session and the seminar on the overseas SAKE market.
WSET, The Wine & Spirit Education Trust, is a British organization devoted to the development and delivery of qualifications and courses in wines and spirits. Established in 1969 for the UK wine trade, WSET has since grown to become the global industry leader.
To the world’s leading provider of wine and spirits education, special courses to learn about SAKE were added at the end of 2014. Since then, over 5000 people have finished the courses in more than 25 countries, and the number of SAKE course educators has amounted to over 100.
This time, the WSET SAKE Educators’ JAPAN Study Tour took place for the first time. And I could attend the debriefing session of the tour and the seminar on the overseas SAKE market, which were held as the final of the tour.

The seminar by the world top SAKE Educators were filled with lots of learnings on many aspects of recent situation of SAKE in each country.
I was very glad that I could attend such a meaningful seminar and also joined the afterparty to talk with lots of people.
